Auto glazing software for UK windscreen companies
Auto glazing software runs a windscreen company: it finds the right glass for the car, prices the work, books a fitter, records what was done and raises the invoice. AutoGlazer is auto glazing software made for UK windscreen fitting and repair firms, from one fitter to several branches.

What makes windscreen work different
A general job app can book a visit and send an invoice. It does not know that a 2019 Transit can take several different windscreens, that an insurer pays everything except the excess, or that a customer should sign for the scratch that was already on the bonnet before you start. Those are the parts of the day that cost a windscreen firm time and money.
| What the job needs | How AutoGlazer does it |
|---|---|
| Finding the right glass | The parts finder takes a UK registration or a make and model, fills in the vehicle, and works to an ARGIC code. ARGIC codes stay on stock and quote lines. |
| Knowing what it costs | Search supplier prices from inside the quote, without opening another site for each one. |
| Insurance jobs | Insurer, policy, claim and authorisation details are taken once and carried to the invoice. The excess and the insurer's balance can go on two invoices. |
| Fleet and trade work | Rate cards with agreed prices by kind of work, make and model, plus sites, vehicle lists, credit holds and monthly statements. |
| Fit, repair and calibration | Fit, repair and ADAS calibration job types on one board and one schedule. |
| Existing damage | The fitter marks chips, cracks and scratches on a car diagram, adds photos and takes the customer's signature. Once signed, the marks can't be changed. |
| Out-of-hours cover | A rota for each branch, with alerts to whoever is on call and to a backup if nobody picks the job up. |
How a job runs through AutoGlazer
- Enquiry. Taken by the office, sent in through the client portal or API, or passed over by a partner company. It joins one pipeline, with the customer, the vehicle and the insurance details on it.
- Quote. Labour, parts, travel and VAT, with supplier prices beside you and any rate card already applied. Accepted quotes become jobs.
- Schedule. Drag the job onto a fitter's lane. The fitter sees it on their phone with the address, the vehicle, the glass and any note for the fitter, such as a gate PIN or where to park.
- On site. The fitter updates the status, takes before-and-after photos, records existing damage and gets the customer's signature. Status reaches the office as it happens.
- Invoice. A tax invoice from the finished job with nothing to rekey, split between motorist and insurer where that applies, with payments and credit notes recorded against it.
Who it is for
- One-person mobile fitters. The Lite plan runs the whole business from one sign-in, office work included. See software for mobile windscreen fitters.
- Teams of fitters. The Full plan adds a shared schedule, roles and permissions, an audit trail, staff records and approval on purchase orders.
- Several branches. Depots run from one account, with data and reports separated per branch.
- Firms with insurance and fleet accounts. See insurance and fleet invoicing.
AutoGlazer is software for the firms doing the fitting. It is not a repair service for motorists, and it does not fit windscreens itself.
What it costs
Prices are published. Lite is £50 a month for one person, with the first month free. Full is £300 per branch per month plus £50 per fitter per month, with a minimum of 2 fitters. Those are annual-commitment rates excluding VAT, there is no setup fee, and a rolling monthly plan is available at a higher rate. Hosting, updates and the fitter apps are included. The pricing calculator works out your team's cost.
What it does not do yet
Better to know now than after a demo.
- The fitter app is on Google Play for Android. The iPhone and iPad app is built but is not on the App Store yet.
- Direct links to QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, FreeAgent, Zoho Books and NetSuite are coming soon. CSV export for your accountant works today.
- Card payment from the invoice email is coming soon.
- There is no self-serve trial. It starts with a demo on a call.
